Culinary Workshops

There is no better way to experience a culture is in the homes of its people. And no better way to dig into its tastes than in the kitchen. The Nachlaot neighborhood of Jerusalem is one of the most culturally diverse locales in all of Israel. Jews from Iraq to Morocco, Poland to Spain, have made this place their home. And of course, they've brought their favorite dishes with them.

In her Nachlaot kitchen, Chana Mason, Experiential Guide and Wellness Coach, will introduce you to some of her favorite Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fare. You'll make seasonal dishes that include savory and sweet ingredients and spices that you'll have explored in Shuk Machane Yehudah, Jerusalem's most exciting marketplace.

You'll use the freshest, tastiest fruit, vegetables, nuts, and grains to make a meal of a lifetime, then sit together with the Masons for a family meal. You'll have the opportunity to ask us about our lives, our travels throughout the world, and our unique and colorful history.
